Common questions

Why don’t I see live court availability in my city?

Rally shows real-time booking data for Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA, and Alpharetta, GA, where we read directly from the parks & recreation reservation systems. Everywhere else, courts appear as location-only pins with no availability data — you can still see where they are, get directions, log sessions, and use the rest of the app. We add cities as we get access to their booking systems; email us to request yours.

A court’s availability looks wrong.

Availability reflects reservations in the city’s booking system, not how many people are physically on the courts. A court can read “booked” while nobody is playing, and walk-on courts that never need a reservation are shown separately. If a court looks persistently wrong, email us the court name and the time you checked.

How is my rating calculated?

Your rating starts from the skill assessment during onboarding and then moves after each match you log with a result. Early matches move it more; it settles as you play more. Practice sessions, lessons, and open play don’t affect it.

How do I add friends?

Open Activity → Friends or your profile and use Add Friends to search by username or invite someone from your contacts. Once they accept, their sessions appear in your friends feed.

Why do I need a partner for matchmaking?

Rally matches doubles pairs against other pairs, so you pair up with someone you know first and we find another pair at a similar level. Matchmaking is available in Charlotte and Atlanta at launch.

Account and privacy

Delete your account. In the app, go to Profile → Edit Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, sessions, rating history, friends, and messages. You can also email rallytennisappsupport@gmail.com and we will delete it for you.
Report a player or message. Use the report and block options on a player’s profile or on any message. Reports are reviewed and we act on them, including removing accounts.
